You can export your purchase analysis views to Microsoft Excel. In Excel, you can analyze and work with data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV using the full range of features in Excel.
To export a purchase analysis view to Excel
In the Search box, enter Purchase Analysis by Dimension, and then choose the related link.
Select the analysis view, and then, on the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Edit Analysis View.
In the Analysis View List Purchase window, on the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Show Matrix.
In the Purch. Analysis by Dim. window, on the Navigate tab, in the Actions group, choose Export to Excel.

The maximum possible number of lines in Excel is approximately 65000. If your analysis view generates too many lines, an error message will appear in Excel. |

In Excel, the column headings always display the code. If you insert a check mark in the Purchase Analysis by Dimensions window in the Show Column Name field, the column headings will display both codes and names in Excel. |
