You can close to-dos when you have completed them.
Close to-dos from the To-do List window. Depending on where you access the To-do List window from, the window shows to-dos for contacts, salespeople, campaigns, or teams. The following procedure shows how to close a to-do from a Contact card. The steps are similar for salespeople, campaigns, and teams.
To close to-dos
- In the Search box, enter Contact, and then choose the related link. 
- Select the relevant contact. 
- On the Navigate tab, in the Contact group, choose To-dos. 
- In the To-do List window, select the to-do that you want to close. To open the to-do card, on the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Edit Organizer To-Do. 
- On the To-do card, select the Closed field.

| After you have closed the to-do, the Closed check box is selected in the To-do List window, and the Date Closed field is updated with the current system date. Closed to-dos can be deleted. |
